 AQUATECH NORTH STARS TAKE GAME 1

         They call them the come back boys and its for good reasons . The defending league champions . North Stars , looking for their 8th strait title and the 13th in the last 14th since the year 2000 proved that their experience and poise was still there come Monday night in Azilda . The Aquatech gang took a 4-1 lead after one inning but the quick bats and good defense of the Panthers would not give up scoring 6 runs in the next few frames to take a 7-4 lead . Here come the North Stars scoring a five spot in the the 56th frame to make it a 9-9 tie . In the bottom of the 7th inning , Chad St Cyr comes up with a clutch single with a man on second base and bring in the winning run and game one of the best of 3 10-9 .Both pitchers Carter Joncas of the Stars and Gary Lamothe of the Panthers went the distance . Jesse St Cyr led the way for the winners going 2 for 3 at the plate while Bras Matheson hit 3 for 4 (double) in a losing cause for the Panthers. Game 2 of this best of 3 affair goes Thursday night in Garson at 8 PM
