Just a reminder about USA passport requirements for 2007 which will affect those flying into Canada from the USA and planning on returning to the USA.
If you fly into Canada next year, you will have to have a valid USA passport to get back into the USA.
If you drive into Canada next year, birth certificate and government issued photo ID is accepted, the same as it is for 2006.

Beginning in 2008, anyone crossing the border into Canada (flying or driving) will be required to have a valid USA passport to be able to re enter the USA.
