--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2006 Hustle Hog's Fall Development League kicked off it's season Sunday in Cortland, Il..  The mission of the league is to introduce the game to new players and to develop pitchers while increasing the possibility of new teams in the future.  There are four teams in the league and there are over 25 players who have NEVER played fastpitch before.  The Rock Valley Club Team (23-under) is participating in the league as well.  In today's games all four teams started pitchers who have less than two years experience pitching.  Three of the four teams had pitchers start that have less than one year experience pitching fastpitch.  To say the least, the league is already a success.  The DeKalb Hustle Hogs will be umpiring the league and working the field.  The Hog's organization hopes to form a new team for 2007 out of the three local squads.

Here are the game recaps with Pitcher of the Week and Player of the week.
