and president of REFEREE Enterprises, Inc. (1976). Barry serves as publisher/executive editor of REFEREE Magazine
- the most widely read officiating monthly in the world [88,000 readers]. Founder (1980) and president of the National
Association of Sports Officials. NASO has more than 18,500 active members. The association has been and continues to
be in the vanguard of legislative and legal efforts to protect the men and women who officiate sports today.
Each year Barry is asked to address many groups and has appeared on national television and radio shows plus being
widely quoted in major media, such as USA Today, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal
