World Cup of Softball X returns to Irvine, Calif.; Super Fan tickets now available

 

OKLAHOMA CITY — As countries begin their training for the 2015 Pan American Games this summer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the top softball teams in the world will once again return to Bill Barber Park in Irvine, Calif. for the World Cup of Softball X the Amateur Softball Association (ASA)/USA Softball announced today.  Hosted by Southern California ASA/USA Softball, the World Cup, an International Softball Federation (ISF) sanctioned event, will be played June 29 - July 5 and will include the top teams in the world, including Team USA, Japan, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and for the first time the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team. 

 

"Getting to hang out with the people who love the sport as much as we do is the best," said USA Softball's Sam Fischer (Simi Valley, Calif.).  "Meeting and talking with some of our biggest fans make the entire USA Softball experience even better."

 

Fans attending the World Cup of Softball X can have a chance to view some of the best softball in the world from the best seats at Bill Barber Park (Deanna Manning Stadium) by purchasing Super Fan tickets.  Now through March 2, Super Fan tickets will be available by emailing WorldCupXIrvine@aol.com with your inquiries or by clicking here.

The Super Fan ticket ($250) includes premium, stadium seating for all seven days of the World Cup with Super Fans receiving a USA Softball "Fan Pack", which includes a VIP parking pass, a World Cup X t-shirt, program, souvenir ticket, and more! The ticket also includes a private meet and greet with the 2015 USA Softball Women’s National Teams during the World Cup.

 

The World Cup schedule as well as the dates and times for Super Fan events, including the meet and greet, are not yet finalized.
