Storm repeats as S.T.D.M.M.F.L Champs

Al,  thought I would wrap the season down here for you.  The St. Thomas Storm captured the St. Thomas and District playoff championship on last week defeated the Alvinston Indians 3-1 in the best of 5 final.  St. Thomas won a hard fought semifinal against Shedden in which St. Thomas prevailed 3-2.  Alvinston with the aid of some impressive come back wins, beat Blenheim in the other semifinal 3-2.

Game 2 - Alvinston 1  St. Thomas 0  (9 innings - this game was played in a crazy wind storm)

Marc Greenwood made a great defensive play in the top half and then squeezed home the winning run in the bottom
Game 3 - St. Thomas 10     Alvinston 3 (5 innings)
St. Thomas sent 10 batters to the plate in the first inning

Dan Beecroft went 6-0 in the playoffs for the Storm
