am sorry to send this note that Roget Wells passed way today. Most of us know that he has been ill since just before his Memorial Day tournament. He had an operation the following Tuesday and had a stroke on the operating table. He had improved enough to go to a nursing home but was taken back to the hospital last week.
He was a fixture in Ohio fastpitch for decades and we all have many good memories of him and how hard he worked for fastpitch. His teams from Wayne County/Shreve were always competitive and fun to play against.
We will miss him!
Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at

Coming south from Wooster on Rte. 228, go to the center of town. Turn left onto Jones St. The funeral home is about one block.
Funeral is Monday at 11:00 am.
