he World Series All Stars Exhibition Fastpitch Softball Match will not only celebrate and showcase world class players from our region, but will also be an opportunity to see the best umpiring talent in action too!

 

Darren Sibraa will be travelling to the 14^th ISF World Championships in Canada with the Aussie Steelers and will fittingly be officiating on the night at the World Series All Stars game.

 

Darren's resume and accomplishments (below) are nothing short of astonishing. Receiving ISF Accreditation in 2006 and Australian Level 8 accreditation in 2010, Darren has gone on to be awarded the “Viv Triplett” Australian Umpire of the Year on three separate occasions- in 2006, 2009 and 2010.

 

Before making the calls from behind the plate for the main game at 6:30pm on the night Darren will be conducting a “Blues Masterclass” from 3:00-4:30pm where all budding umpires (and even those with some experience under their belt) are invited to come along and learn from the best- covering both theory and practical aspects of umpiring fastpitch softball.
