FARGO, ND – It’s what every tournament director wants – parity, close games, even competition. And that’s what happened Saturday at the Fargo Memorial Tournament. Pool play results.

POOL A
Portage Phillies, Manitoba 3-0
Lens Auto, Minn. 2-1
Fargo Bombers 1-2
Brookings SD 0-3

POOL B
Gameland Trappers, Ontario 2-1
Colorado Knights 2-1
Hollywood, Minn 2-1
Fargo Koalas 0-3

POOL C
Hennegar Plumbing, Lake Crystal, Minn 2-1
Rooters Bar, Fargo 2-1
Winnipeg Bullets 1-2,
Grenfell Gems, Saskatoon 1-2

Sunday’s action starts at 9 a.m. with the Fargo Bombers taking on Hollywood with the winner playing Portage. Then it’s Len’s Auto versus the Fargo Koalas with the winner advancing to meet Rooters Bar.

Winnipeg and Grenfell Gems will battle and the winner will then take on Hennegar Plumbing; and finally the Colorado Knights rumble with Brookings with the Gameland Trappers waiting in the wings for the survivor.

It will be a great day of playoffs, so don’t miss the action at the Anderson Softball Complex in Fargo.
