This Canada Day long weekend the Tribe will continue their long standing tradition by hosting their annual fastpitch tournament in Elmvale & Wyevale. Last year Ian Knott led the Bucktown Bees (who defeated Port Elgin in semis) to the title, notching a 6-5 victory over Napanee (who defeated Wyevale in the semis) in the finals. On the B side the Minesing Oranges defeated Chris McColl and the Toronto Bingos 7-6. This year with the increased payout, we expect to garner the interest of many more quality teams, and anticipate making the Canada Day Classic one of the premier events each and every year.
