Zoe Conley named as alternate to USA Softball Junior Women's National
Team roster

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Amateur Softball Association (ASA)/USA Softball
announced today the addition of Zoe Conley (Berkeley, Calif.) to the
2015 USA Softball Junior Women's National Team (JWNT) roster as an
alternate. Conley, a sophomore pitcher currently at Cal State
Northridge (CSUN), replaces Chelsea Whitcomb (Chesterfield, Va.), who
suffered a knee injury following the JWNT tryouts in January. As a
member of the 2015 JWNT, Conley will compete in several exhibition
games/tour stops throughout the U.S. in preparation for the World Cup of
Softball X in Irvine, Calif.

"I want to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for their constant
encouragement," said Conley. "I'm very blessed and honored to be chosen
for the team. To represent USA on such a broad platform has always been
a dream of mine. Playing for my college coach, Coach Flowers is going to
be a wonderful experience as well."

Conley just completed her freshman season at CSUN, playing a vital role
in the success of the Matador's 2015 season. In her freshman season, she
appeared in 40 games, starting in 21 and finishing with a 19-7 record.
Conley finished with 1.84 ERA, eight complete games, eight shutouts and
tossed CSUN's first no-hitter since 2008. Her team had a very successful
2015 campaign, winning the Big West Conference Championship for the
first time since 1998 and gaining a birth in the NCAA Tournament for the
first time since 2007. She won the 2015 Big West Freshman Pitcher of the
Year award, while also receiving First Team All-Big West honors and was
named to the Big West All-Freshman Team.

As a member of the 2015 USA Softball JWNT, Conley will take the field in
her first international event at the World Cup of Softball X

"We'd like to welcome Zoe to the team," said Flowers. "Her addition
really strengthens our bullpen as we prepare for our loaded summer
schedule. I look forward to continuing to work with Zoe on the
international level of competition as we pursue the Gold Medal at the
WBSC Junior Women's World Championship in Oklahoma City in August."

This marks the first time Conley has been named to a National Team
roster after appearing at the Open Junior Women's Tryouts in January.
