Hi

As some of you may be aware by now Niagara Fury player Ray Carr's family is
going through a very difficult time right now as his 6 year old nephew
Tristan Romeo has been stricken with a rare aggressive form of brain tumor.
Rays sister Lisa and her family will be essentially living at Ronald
McDonald House in Hamilton for the next year and incurring costs of travel,
room and board and lost wages as together they fight for Tristan. In this
coming year Tristan will be going through rounds of chemo and radiation

A stag and doe type benefit dance and auction with prizes, food and live
music provided by Ear Candy to support Tristan and his family. Come out for
a good time and some drinks, it's time for Team Tristan to have some fun and
celebrate how well our superhero has done so far! $5 per ticket

An Intro to Tristan:

Hi guys I would like to introduce you to an awesome little boy named Tristan
Romeo. Tristan is a 6 year old boy from Ridgeway Ontario who was diagnosed
with a brain tumor (medulloblastoma) on February 11th 2015 and subsequently
underwent an 8 hour surgery on February 13th 2015 to remove the mass.
Unfortunately this was only the beginning of Tristan's battle as he will now
undergo a year of aggressive treatments in an attempt to rid his body of the
remaining cancer cells and prevent a recurrence of this aggressive form of
cancer. The treatments will start Thursday March 12th, 2015 beginning with 5
weeks of radiation therapy (5days a week) followed by approximately 1 year
of chemotherapy as well as multiple spinal taps throughout his battle to
test for cancer cells that travel through spinal fluid with this type of the
disease. During his treatments Tristan's parents, Grant and Lisa, will both
be unable to attend their jobs as they focus on getting Tristan cured as
well as caring for his siblings. Aside from Grant and Lisa, Tristan lives at
home with his two younger brothers Xander (4) and Damon (2). Tristan is a
loving big brother, an outgoing, energetic young boy who, when not playing
with his little brothers and cousins, participates in Dayboll Pascuzzi jiu
jitsu where he is a brown belt, is a member of the Red Raiders Basketball
program and is also a member of the Fort Erie Youth Soccer Club. Tristan
also loves playing Skylanders on his wii, skating on his outdoor rink that
Dad made for him, and perhaps his greatest love of all is the monster
trucks, he has not missed a Monster Jam since he was old enough to go. We
like to say a heartfelt thank you to the many family friends and strangers
who have reached out with donations, kind words, prayers and loving support
as the family and Tristan begin the battle. Tristan thanks you.

Best regards, Rob
