Softball is set to descend upon Surrey, Canada July 2016, where the world's best fastpitch athletes (representing upwards of 30 nations) will compete at the WBSC XV Women's World Softball Championship. Surrey 2016 organizers announced today that tournament passes are now available for purchase.

With the excitement of women in sport being so prevalent, this Championship will be one that should not be missed. For many of the athletes attending, this will be their only chance to participate in a World Championship. Teams from nearly all continents have expressed interest in attending, some of the teams never having been on the world-stage before making this a one-of-a-kind event.

The Surrey 2016 Host Organizing Committee is also including a major cultural piece to the event. The competition will be dynamic and thrilling to watch, and the Celebration of Nations area will bring a festival atmosphere, celebrating the many different cultures represented by attending teams.
