Mike Hornak mhornak@shaw.ca will be inducted into the Softball BC Hall of
Fame on Saturday, October 14, 2006
Mike began umpiring in the late 1970's after a long career as a player..
Mike earned his ISF status in 1990 and went on to umpire representing Canada
at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia
He served as the Umpire-in-Chief of Softball BC for eight years from
1998-2005.
He has been the UIC for the Canada Cup Women's Invitational tournament for
the past nine years.
The induction will take place at the Softball BC AGM banquet being held at
the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel in Richmond, BC
