Orillia Rained out for Saturday

July 14, 2007

Orillia, ON

A rain delay at 11am when the 2nd and 3rd games of the day were just underway.

Skys cleared a bit after 1pm and the grounds crew prepared the diamonds to play again for 2pm.

Just as Broken Bow and Pueblo took the field at 2pm the rain started again. A decision was taken to try and get this game in, and they did.

Broken bow scored 2 in the B5 to take the game 6 to 1 over Pueblo.

Kirkpatrick had started for Gremlins but Jeremy Manley was warmed up for the 6th inninf if needed which would have been interesting, pitching against his brother who was still pitching for Pueblo.

The Farm and Patsy's did not resume play at 2pm.

SATURDAY PLAY HAS BEEN SUSPENDED!

THE RAIN WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING SO PLAY WILL RESUME AT 8AM ON SUNDAY.

THE MAIN SITE WILL SHOW A NEW SCHEDULE AFTER THE 4PM MANAGERS MEETING.
