SATURDAY, JUNE 28 - IT WAS A LONG WET DAY IN THE BALLYARD

9:30pm

During the SoCal vs St Thomas game the skys opened up again and the rain poured down.

Players and the umpires ran for the Arena while fans ran in all directions looking for cover.

Rained hard with high wind.

Now just light rain but we need to wait for it to stop for working on the diamond again, so once it stops, looking at another hour before play resumes.

10:30pm
and the rain appears to hae stopped and the weather radar indicates the rain has passed by. Therefore we are looking roughly 1 hour to prep the diamond. So we may get the game going by 11:30pm

11:00pm and the Super Grounds Crew of Monkton are about a half hour away from having the diamond ready to go for So Cal and St. Thomas.

11:20pm we are about ten minutes from starting up this game again.

Game Started at 11:20pm

Game ended at 1am

SoCal 6  -  St. Thomas 0 - a tight game until the 6th inning. In a few short hours, SoCal Bombers will play Broken Bow - 8am Sunday in Monkton.
