Well the undisputed blackberry sore thumb award this week goes to Michael Kelly of
Wyevale who did an outstanding job of sending us results all weekend and then capped it off this morning with a wrap up and game summary sheets for every game!

It was a great weekend for getting tournament results and I hand it to all those tournament organizers who stepped up and had someone send me their results on a daily basis. Including:
Murphy's Fish & Chips Fastball Challenge - Jarvis

SAD NEWS: the softball world has lost a true friend.
Today, very sadly we heard of the passing of our good friend Lloyd Poirier of Nova Scotia. An umpire well known all over Canada and the USA. He was a regular at the AAU in Orlando and we saw him often in big tournaments in Ontario and Michigan. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
