Brian Baillie just called from the ballpark at 8:30am and says the park is looking great and there are already fans there staking out their lawn chairs for tonight!
Brian says the park looks like a million dollars with all the recent rain, very green and lush and now the weather is excellent and the park is ready to go for 2009.
Only light rain forcast for overnight so even Friday should be all clear and sunny in fact right through the weekend.
Brian is going to be texting me updates from the park all weekend - I call them "Fun Facts" to borrow a phrase from David Letterman, Brian calls them rumors and stories from the ballyard.
We will be posting them here all weekend along with updates from every game.
