DeKalb, IL - DeKalb Hogs Icebreaker

The 10th annual DeKalb Hogs Icebreaker is May 6-8 in DeKalb, Illinois.  We capped the number of teams at six this year to help with costs and umpire shortages due to high school and college schedules being in full swing.  The Hogs will be hosting the NAFA/ISC Super Regional June 17-19 and will accommodate more teams.  Here is the schedule and last year's information.  You can contact me for more information tcro14@yahoo.com.

Oklahoma City, OK - Sixteen teams to play in the ASA Spring Challenge this weekend at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex

The Amateur Softball Association (ASA)/USA Softball is excited to welcome 16 teams for the 2016 ASA Spring Challenge (16U, 18U) at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex - OGE Energy Field - INTEGRIS Field. Starting today at 5:30 p.m., eight teams will be participating in the 18-Under division with the remaining eight representing the 16-Under division.

Oklahoma City, OK - Pools and game schedules announced for World Cup of Softball XI

Over 60 softball games will be played July 4-10 at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex – OGE Energy Field – INTEGRIS Field as the Amateur Softball Association (ASA)/USA Softball announced today the complete game schedules for the World Cup of Softball XI and Border Battle VIII.  Featuring eight of the Top 10 Women’s National Teams in the world, the World Cup of Softball, a sanctioned World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Softball Division event, and Border Battle return to Oklahoma City for the first time since 2013.

Kitchener, ON - Pan Am medallists lead Kitchener-Waterloo athlete of the year list of nominees

Brandon Horn isn't sure what it would take to top his banner season. But he intends to find out.

Horn, who captured gold medals at the pinnacle of his sport with the Canadian softball teams at the Pan American Games and the International Softball Federation world championship last summer, was one of 10 finalists announced Tuesday for the 2015 Kitchener-Waterloo and area athlete of the year award.
